Here at Yorkshire Activity Centre, we offer Archery in York. Why not come down and have a go at this ancient art using modern recurve bows, designed for taster target Archery. With our experienced Archery GB instructors, you will be grouping in no time, popping the balloons and hitting bullseye!

Games and competitions will have you honing your skills for the points scoring event before your final challenge,to shoot an arrow through the apple on top of the zombies head (because as we know that's the only way to defeat a zombie!!)

Archery is suitable from the age of 8 and with a variety of different sized bows we can equip you with the right kit to hit the target each time.

Do I need to be strong?

Our Axes are a little heavy, however we have different ways to throw them successfully.
Is it safe?

Yes. All our sessions are run by fully trained, experienced instructors. With all our activities, we run them in a very controlled environment which falls inline with our Risk Assessments and Operating Procedures.
What age can I do Axe Throwing from?

12 YEARS+
Are the axes dangerous?

Yes, our axes are the real deal .You will be learning how to throw these axes in a designed and controlled range with a fully trained instructor who will ensure you are safe at all times.
